Pay per Click - you have probably seen the sponsored links across the top and on the right hand side of Google, these are simply advertisements whereby you bid a price 'per click' for a particular spot (more popular and general keywords and phrases being more expensive than more targeted and specific ones) and then pay the bid price when individuals click on your ad. This of course does not guarantee a sale, (if that is your aim), but it at least gets a visitor to your website!
